Worked with Baffle CEO, CTO and engineering team to develop Baffle Manager enterprise security application UI. I analyzed use-cases, user personas and information architecture to developed detailed storyboards containing the user flow with wireframes. I worked with my peers to design Visual Design. I developed Baffle Brand and Visual Design Standard. I worked with software development team to help implement the first version of the UI.
My first step in the UX process is usually creating a storyboard. This storyboard analyzes the different personas and overall goal for Baffle. I like creating both hand drawn and digital versions to get to know the product and company better, and to make sure everyone working on the project has a solid understanding of the big picture.
Generated Basamiq wireframe from the storyboard for new SaaS tenant registration and admin signup.
When working with the product manager, software developer and early-access customers, storyboarding assisted in crystallizing the wireframe with information architecture and the database schema of resulting configuration settings.
Iterative review of the use-case, storyboard, and wireframe resulted into lean UX for this complex feature.
Designed Baffle's Visual Design standard was derived from the brand-identity.
Designed the Advanced Security Configuration feature that integrated the Baffle Visual Design Standard with the refined wireframe. This feature was now ready for HTML/CSS markup and JavaScript coding.
