Created entirely out of objects, except the gradient background. Beaded bracelets (hair), palm tree (face), guitar picks, (nose), almonds (eyes/teeth), flower petals (lips/tongue), leaf (mouth), guitar (background).

Made in Illustrator for a class assignment. Was asked to create a black and white version and pantone colored version of six logo-like tools. I chose brown because it is a natural hair color, grey because a lot of barber tools are metal, and blue because I wanted to incorporate one of the colors on a barber pole. I wanted the colors to give off a sophisticated, classic feel. 

Made in Illustrator for a class assignment. Was asked to create a black and white version and pantone colored version of six logo-like tools, relating to a certain profession. Used only squares, triangles, and circles to create the forms with path options. Compositionally, I created implied lines with the scissors, razor, and comb. The other three objects were similar in weight so placed those in a V shape as well.

I made this for an assignment where the class asked to make a diptych with a contrasting theme. I chose to do a self portrait with the theme of day vs night. My favorite part about these pieces was incorporating water color washes.
